How are assets counted?
Assets fall into two groups
Tools and Equipments
Tracked individually with a unique ID (barcode or serial number or asset tag). An asset tracked with a unique ID counts as one item.
Bulk & Consumables
Tracked in group by quantity. Assets tracked by quantity are counted as one item for their entire group as all of them have the same barcode. So if you are tracking 100 shovels, they are counted as 1 and not 100 as all shovel will have same unique ID.
If you exceed plan quantities, you are able to upgrade to higher plan.
How does the free trial work?
Try ToolWorks free for a limited time with no commitment. No credit card is required to start a trial. You’ll have access to all features and can ask us any questions along the way. Free onboarding is included to help you get up and running quickly. At the end of the trial, you will need to add payment information or be invoiced to continue using ToolWorks.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
There are no long-term contracts associated with your monthly subscription. If you’d like to save on your subscription cost, we offer the option to pay annually, or you can sign a multi-year agreement to lock in additional discounts.
Is there anything to download or install?
No, ToolWorks is web-based and runs in the cloud. Application works in all major, modern web browsers. Specifically, we support Chrome 22 and higher, Firefox 43 and higher, Safari 5.1 and higher, and Microsoft Edge 40 and higher.
Canceling subscriptions
You can cancel your subscription at any time, however we regret that we are unable to refund any unused portion of prepaid subscriptions (e.g. if you cancel at the start of the month, we will stop the next payment run, but cannot refund the remaining month subscription - sorry).
