Weekly Summary Email

Every Monday morning, ToolWorks sends admins and owners a short email about their tools. It answers the questions an owner asks most: where are my tools, and what needs attention this week. Each item links to the page in ToolWorks where you can act on it.

What is in it

Headline numbers: tools out, tools not seen in 30 days, overdue equipment, and tool moves last week.
Not seen in 30 days: tools nobody has checked out, inspected or scanned in an audit for 30 days. These are the ones most likely to be lost.
Equipment overdue: equipment past its return date, and who has it.
Who has tools: each person holding tools, how many, and since when.
Last week: checkouts, returns and field transfers, and how many your crew did themselves in the mobile app.
Coming due: maintenance, inspections and certificates that are overdue or due in the next 7 days, and how many were done last week.
Failed inspections: each inspection from last week that failed or needs attention, with a link to it.
Vehicle registration and insurance: registrations and insurance policies that expire in the next 30 days or expired in the last 90. Keep the dates on your vehicles up to date after a renewal.

Dollar values show when most of the tools in a list have a purchase price. Add purchase prices to your tools to see what is out and what may be lost.

Lists with nothing in them are left out, and no email is sent in a week with nothing to report.

Who gets it

Active admins and owners with an email address, and the company email from your account when it isn't an admin's. It is sent to companies with at least 10 tools.

Turn it off

For yourself: click Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email, or open your Profile and uncheck Weekly summary email under Notifications. You can turn it back on from your profile.
For the company: an admin can turn it off on the Settings page under Configuration, Weekly summary email to admins. Nobody in the company gets it while it is off.
