Picklist Management

Picklist allows you to define a list of tools to pick to fulfill a request or to transfer or to order! Think of it as a Shopping List, plus an Automatic Tools collector! You can define list of tools to pick for different trades and for different types of jobs or projects. A Picklist allow you to define a group of tools once and use that as a pick-list again and again, when assigning tools, transferring tools to job site etc.

Picklist feature is available for Professional, Premium and Enterprise customers.

How to Create a Picklist

1. Navigate to the Picklists tab. [shift-p]
2. Click the Create Picklist button.
3. Enter a name for the picklist, optionally enter a description
4. Click Add Tools to add tools to the picklist.
5. Click Create to save the new picklist.

How to Create a Picklist from existing Checkouts

1. Navigate to the Checkouts tab. [shift-c]
2. Select the checkout you want to convert to a picklist.
3. Click Create Picklist to create a picklist from the checkout.
4. Enter a name for the picklist, optionally enter a description
5. Click Create to save the new picklist.

How to Create a Picklist from existing Store Transfer

1. Navigate to the Store Transfers tab. [shift-t]
2. Select the transfer you want to convert to a picklist.
3. Click Create Picklist to create a picklist from the transfer.
4. Enter a name for the picklist, optionally enter a description
5. Click Create to save the new picklist.

How to Create a Picklist from existing a Kit Tool

1. Navigate to the Tools tab. [shift-t]
2. Select the kit tool you want to convert to a picklist.
3. Click Create Picklist to create a picklist from the kit tool.
4. Enter a name for the picklist, optionally enter a description
5. Click Create to save the new picklist.

How to Edit a Picklist

1. Navigate to the Picklists tab. [shift-p]
2. Select the picklist you want to edit.
3. Edit the picklist details as required. You can add new tools, edit quantity of existing tools or delete tools.
4. Click Update to update the picklist.

How to Delete a Picklist

1. Navigate to the Picklists tab. [shift-p]
2. Select the picklist you want to delete.
3. Click Delete to delete the picklist.
4. Click OK to confirm.

How to Use a Picklist

1. Navigate to the Tools tab. [shift-t]
2. Click Select a Picklist and select the picklist you want to use.
3. System will find tools that are part of the picklist and add them to the cart.
4. In the Cart, click Assign to assign tools to user or Transfer to transfer tools to another store.

Scan with Picklist

1. Select Scan tab (on mobile app).
2. Tap Picklist to select a picklist.
3. System will find tools that are part of the picklist and show you tool to pick.
4. Scan the tool to add it to the cart, system will auto move to the next tool in the picklist.

FAQ

1. Can I use more than one picklist at a time?

   Yes, you can use more than one picklist. You can select multiple picklists and system will find tools that are part of the picklists and add them to the cart.

2. What happens if there are no tools in inventory?

   When there are no tools in inventory, system will show a message to user that there are no tools in inventory and add remaining tools to the cart.

3. What happens if there are tools already in the cart?

   When there are tools already in the cart, system will show a message to user that tools are already in the cart and skip adding those tools from the picklist.
