Audit

Audit feature lets you create and manage stock audits. The main goal of audit is to ensure that actual quantity of goods in stock with match your records. With ToolWorks, you can perform audit entire company or individual locations.

Setup Audit

  1. On the navigation menu, select **Stock Audit**
  2. This will show list of active Audits. Click Create (top right) to create a new Audit.
  3. Fill out 'Create Audit Event' fields as required.
    • Audit Name : Give your audit a descriptive and recognizable name so that it is easy to track.
    • Notes : Add any notes that might be helpful with audit as well as for future references.
    • Location : Select the location where audit is being performed. The audit will be performed at the location only.
    • Start Date : Select the start date of the audit. The audit will be performed from this date.
  4. Click Add to create the audit.
  5. This will create a new audit and will be shown on the list of active audits.(or under Scheduled if you picked stated date in future)

Perform Audit on Mobile

Find the audit to perform and select it. This will show Audit Details with list of tools that have been audit as well as total tools in inventory.

  1. Click Audit Tools to audit a tool.
  2. Scan Tools : Scan barcode/Asset tag of tool being audited
  3. Scanned tool will be added to list with quantity of 1.
  4. To change quantity for Bulk and Consumables, click x/y Counted under Tools. This will bring up list of all tools that have been audited. Find the the tool and change quantity using + or - icons. You can also directly enter quantity in the input box.

Perform Audit on Desktop

Find the audit to perform and select Tools >. This will show list of tools that have been audit as well as total tools in inventory.

  1. Click Add to start tool audit.
    • Inventory Barcode : Asset tag of tool being audited
    • Quantity Counted : Physical quantity of tool available in inventory
    • Notes: Related notes if any.
  2. Click Add to add audited tool

Complete Audit

  1. On Audit Detail, select Complete
