How It Works

When Easy Mode is enabled, users are presented with a simplified mobile interface:

  • Dashboard: Central “Checkout” button and minimal stats like upcoming due equipment.
  • Scan: Instantly scan tools to check them out.
  • Me: View tools currently in the user’s custody.
  • Menu: Access help and essential options.

The experience is optimized for speed and simplicity—perfect for teams in the field.

Configuration

Easy Mode can be enabled per user via role configuration in the ToolWorks Web App. Admins can set up roles that include tool checkout (and optionally check-in or transfers) while hiding advanced features like reporting or analytics.

When enabled, users are restricted to the simplified mobile experience and will not have access to the full web application.
